Chi, prana, inner self, life force, spirit, soul ... what do all these terms have in common? They are all words used to describe the Universal Life energy flowing through you, me, and the entire universe! Simply put, Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing art that uses that very same universal energy to promote physical and/or emotional well-being and health. As a Reiki Master, I am able to channel and direct that energy from the source directly to you, using my hands while you relax comfortably. The benefits of Reiki are numerous! They include but are not limited to reduced stress and anxiety and an increase in overall relaxation. Reiki is even being used in select hospitals because emerging research has shown that it speeds recovery and healing (Cleveland Clinic 2021.)
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION
As I've mentioned earlier, Reiki is all about relaxation! You remain fully clothed during your session while laying serenely on a massage table, while I direct healing energy with my hands using light contact at your main chakra points and limbs. Your only job is to absorb all of that beautiful universal goodness!
CAN'T MAKE IT IN TO THE STUDIO?
That's OK! I am also trained to provide distance Reiki! Sounds weird, right? I get it - but Reiki energy can be directed anywhere any time! Thank you, Quantum Mechanics!

ABOUT ME
Just who is your Reiki Master? That's me - Hilary Dempsey. I was lead to Reiki a few years ago while navigating some difficulties and have never looked back! I am also currently earning an MS in Maharishi Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine and can't wait to be able to offer those services as well. In my spare time ... wait, spare time? Who has that?? Well in my sparse spare time, I enjoy archery, cooking, reading, spending time with my husband and daughter, and doing crafts rather poorly.
